Here is a list of fun Passover and Easter Activities for kids.

Please let us know what you guys do to help celebrate this beautiful season!!

Coloring Sheets:

Palm Sunday

Passover

Seder Plate

Easter Bunny

1 plus 1 plus 1 equals 1

Games:

Passover Word Search

Passover Dot to Dot

Jeopardy Game – I did this last night with the Kids at my church.

Crafts:

Palm Sunday Donkey– We did this one last year and the kids had a lot of fun. It is a little messy.

Palm Branch Crosses -It is too late this year but this is a fun activity for your older kids to do. Take the palm branches from church home and turn them into crosses.

Stain glass cross– We made the first cross at an outreach and the kids had a lot of fun creating their own crosses. You will need an adult to help with the contact paper

He is Risen Watercolor – We did this when we watched our friends’ kids. It was a big hit. I wrote He is Risen on their card-stock printouts with white crayon and didn’t tell them. It was awesome to watch them discover the words appearing as they painted.

My Joy-Filled Life– We have done number 5-Resurrection Eggs (had an Easter Egg Hunt then told story), 6-Easter Story Wreath and number (I ended up having to make my own since I wasn’t smart enough to figure out how to download it and I never remembered to ask my tech guy when he was home.) 8-Empty Tomb-Easter Garden (The kids did this with their Grandma and loved it.)

Activities:

Easter Egg Hunt telling the story of Jesus’ last week.– Instead of reading the passages to the kids I had the kids take turns opening the eggs and had them tell me about that part of the story. I numbered the eggs so that we knew what order to put them in. It blessed my heart to hear them tell the story and what each symbol meant.  They get it!!

Resurrection Eggs Story– This has ideas to do the eggs with actual objects or with pictures on paper.

Food:

My Joy-Filled Life We have done #13 the resurrection rolls. I would recommend using small marshmallows because our didn’t quite melt. Or you can say that the marshmallow that is left is part of the linen cloth they wrapped Jesus in.   : )

Marshmallow Bunny in Snow -this was a really fun dessert to make and eat!
