Here are some commercials that illustrate deeper truths to me.
Distraction in Communication:
The other day Dana was sitting in the living room, talking to me. Directly behind her and over her shoulder was the TV, with sports on, full volume. I am sure that she was saying something really important, but I didn’t have a chance.
“You’re Not You When You’re Hungry”
If you have kids, or a spouse, you understand how true this is!
This seems to be the answer to any problem. I’m not sure why, but I think this is funny. (I guess if you make a pun that involves King Arthur and technology, I will laugh.)
My parents and grandparents are and were farmers. And I listened to Paul Harvey nearly every day of my life from birth to college. So this commercial is great.
What Will Your Verse Be?
…the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?”
