C13 Mom: Love Never Fails

Love NEVER Fails.

There are days when life may seem too hard to handle. There are days when you doubt. Days when you are fearful. Days when nothing seems to be going right. But on those days there is one truth that remains constant: Love never fails. God’s love will always be there, ready to wrap you up and comfort you. God’s love will draw you near. God’s love is ever ready to supply all your needs and bless you beyond what you can even imagine.

Remember, the love your heavenly Father has for you is like the love you have towards your children. No matter how naughty they have been, you always get up the next morning to do it all over again, because your love is never ending. There may be days when you don’t like them very much, but your love for them will never change!

Praise God the same is true of our heavenly Father. No matter what we do or don’t do, His love is permanent. It never comes to an end. It never fluctuates and will last for eternity. On the days you don’t have much left to give, hold onto this promise: LOVE NEVER FAILS!

As we end the C13 series, here are some verses that you can enjoy.  They try to describe a love that is beyond comparison. Allow this idea to fill you up to the point of overflowing so that you can bless your children, your husband, your family and friends with the love that never fails.

God’s Love For Us:

Lamentations 3:22 (NLT)

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.

Isaiah 54:10 (NLT)

“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 3:17-19 (NLT)

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Psalm 26:3 (NLT)

For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth.

Psalm 40:11 (NLT)

Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.

Daniel 9:4 (NLT)

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands.

How We Are To Extend God’s Love Towards Others:

Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself

Ephesians 4:2(NLT)

Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.

Romans 13:8 (NIV)

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

Romans 13:10 (NLT)

Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
