Thank you, thank you, thank you.
1 year ago (9/30/13), with a lot of help from our friends, we launched Our Purposeful Life. Thank you for your support and for participating with us in the conversation. It has been a blessing to our family, and we hope that God uses it to help you and yours.
If you were to casually review these posts, a natural response would be to say “This blog is all over the place and is totally random!” And in some ways, you would be right.
I thought this would be a good opportunity to answer the question: How do they go together? What is the common thread?
Each of these posts talk about how we can lead purposeful lives. We want to be purposeful in our marriage, parenting, faith, and leadership. In short, we want to be purposeful in all areas of our life together.
Every kid reads books – we want to purposefully select books that build up and enrich our kids.
Every couple communicates – we want to purposefully communicate in ways that show love and respect and protect our marriage for the long haul.
Dana and myself and our support group have a passionate vision to live our lives this way, to help you do the same, and get a group to join with us to challenge and edify us. We believe that by following this vision we can literally change the world, one family at a time!
Thank you for being purposeful with us! We are excited for another purposeful year.
