My heart’s desire is to teach our kids to be godly, well-adjusted, confident leaders.  Every day is a challenge.  Some weeks (even months) are discouraging and just plain overwhelming!

One thing I have learned is that the easiest way for Satan to take a mom out is to make her think that she is all alone. This can happen so quickly when you are knee-deep in diapers, disciplining every other minute of the day, lacking sleep and tired of hearing little people say “MOM”.

I pray this blog reminds you of this good news: You do not have to do it alone!!!  And you shouldn’t!!!!

I want to be an encouragement to you that you will survive! You will have success! And if you will just hold on to the promises of God and faithfully trust your heart and not your eyes the rewards are incredible.

It is so important that we build a community around us that we can ‘do life with.’  Together with our husbands and trusted friends we can win this generation for The Lord. Keep fighting for the lives of your children. It will be worth it, and one day we might even get sleep !  😉

(These are my dear friends from college. I have been doing life with them for 13+ years)

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.
She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.
Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!”
Proverbs 31:25-29 (NLT)
